Lovely location with charming ambiance
The location was perfect for exploring lovely Ambleside, with easy access to local eateries and attractions. The room was clean and well-maintained.
The walls were quite thin. I could hear occasional conversations from the neighboring rooms, made sleeping a bit challenging at times. The bathroom was separate, requiring frequent trips across the hall.

A good budget hotel with great food. Decent, active staff with smiling face. The central location close to a bus stop. A lot of restaurants and cafes in area. The property of choice in Ambleside.

Absolutley disappoined with my stay. The electric lock was a nightmare, as I was rudely awoken by some random person trying to enter. Not to mention the charming wet spot on the floor that kept growing, obviously an act of betrayal! I expected a complimentary gesture for my troubles, but apparently, this hotel only offers disarray.

Good central location with facilities that more than matched the rent. Comfortable and clean.
Noise from slammig doors and from other residents quiet conversations.

Central location made exploring Ambleside easy. Trouble sleeping due to noise from the nearby bar and thin walls.

The location is central with easy access to a variety of dining options. The family room was spacious enough, with two single beds and a queen, a pleasant setup that felt inviting without overcrowding the space....

Unfortunately the premises are located very close to a Wine Bar and also a pub playing loud music and karaoke, with attendant noisy clientele. It also obviously has a late licence. Thus you can expect to have a disturbed night. Parking a long way away, but parking is difficult in this town.

The location is excellent. It really is in the heart of Ambleside.
This isnt a hotel or a b&b. Its just a room with a coffee machine. There isnt any parking next to it but parking spaces are available 5 minutes away. I would say its not very suitable for people who have gone to the lakes to undertake sporting activites as there is no facilities to wash, dry and store equipment and my room was up 3 flights of stairs so not ideal if you have to carry any kit. Also there is a pub directly under it and on Saturday night music was blaring until 1am so dont expect an early night at the weekend.

Chur, the location was sweet as, right in the heart of town! But those thin walls made it hard to sleep with all the nearby noise. Still had a comfy bed.

Really good central location but beware car parking during the day. A great location for anyone travelling by train. Spacious rooms, very clean, with good bathrooms. Good for walkers or anyone meeting up for a get...
